So, I'm putting this up here at the request of my daughters. They have informed me that I will be getting an ipod with many of my favourite songs and Bills cds loaded to take on my journey across the wilderness. My playlists will include songs requested by friends and family, the idea is to 'inspire' me with song and to give me a boost when I'm flagging. I guess I'll need some sort of solar device stitched into my hat to power it. It's a sweet idea and I really appreciate it, I just doubt I will want to hear anything other than the whooshing sled runners on ice, and the panting dogs. Maybe in my tent at night. Anyway, I hope you'll all put your thinking caps on and come up with some songs for them to upload. Please NO Boney M, especially not 'brown girl in the rain'. I may die listening to it, remember that. blink.gif

Any incidental survival tips greatly appreciated.

Anything by Three Dog Night should qualify as a music suggestion and a survival tip....

Ever heard any Modest Mouse? My brother awards album of the year to We Were Dead Before the Ship Even Sank. It is a great album. We Own Everything and Fly Trapped in a Jar are my favorites off of that one:

I would suggest the arctic monkeys if it wasn't so obvious. So The Automatics 'Monster' it is instead.

God I've missed a lot here in a couple of days - some good suggestions here, Modest Mouse are cool yeah, but don't know if it's in the 'Epic' category ye know? 'Monster' haha good one..she'll either be laughin or freaked the fuck out..the only epicy things I can think of right now are both by the wonderous Kate Bush..and it'd be a crime not to have her with you..

ooh ooh ooh I forgot!!

oh and for sure
