Although true, that still sounds douche-esque. I don't know, conspiracy implies it's secret, and it seems to me whenever the FCC or equivalent in other countries censor something it's always done well within the public eye. They may distort what the one person was trying to say, but that alone does not equal conspiracy.

There's alot of other things dealing with censorship that are, though. Don't get me started...

Conspiracy: a secret agreement between two or more people to perform an unlawful act.

Last I checked, it's not illegal for a couple people to not like George Carlin.

People did not appreciate some of Carlin's ideas but he was by far a "Comic Genius". Nobody else will ever be like him. I also liked him in Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure he was classic. Another Comic Genius I will say would be Bill Hicks he was a true master like Carlin. smile.gif

I think the ideas he proposed were more or less discouraged publicly with everyone fully aware of it. The fact that all his shows weren't broadcast on basic cable despite his following is proof of that.

I was sure those Bill and Ted movies were pieces of crap that I never needed to see. Carlin is in them you say? Not that guy from WKRP? I'm going to ovguide.com.

Yeah, I'm watching the first one right now in a little window and pausing it for CM's youtubes (which I will stop doing as it has not been worth it).

Carlin was in two, and they were both good. Not phenomenal, but completely passable in terms of comparison. Come on, let's say you have to choose Bill & Ted or Disaster Movie. You haven't even seen disaster movie but it's a no-brainer.

Dude! Whoa!

Yeah, he introduced Buddy Christ to the world. It's perfect satire and probably Kevin Smith at his pinnacle (which isn't saying much). That movie rocked until the last twenty minutes. Especially that one scene at Mooby Co. Fucking genius.

What a great guy.

The world is left with little intelligence and less laughter now that he's gone.
