Here's the video. It's funny enough, I love how the "pssh" of the turd-drink joke matches up with Mencia's Bud Light commercial.

It really got me thinking in a way I didn't before. Not about any of these people being mediocre or corparate whores (already covered that ground many times), but how we truly lose sight of priority. Truth be told Jesus jokes don't piss people off alot (it's just when it does I might die). You know what really pisses people off? Saying Emo music sucks. Jokes about Adam Sandler not being funny. Wal-Mart jokes if you're in a small town.

That's why I never want to be "edgy". That shit's not an edge, it's a bottomless pit that comes only after the real edge. To stand against that kind of mediocrity sounds mediocre. What's the point of fighting banality like that? If we really take stupid shit like that over actual difference-making, why the fuck is the argument even worth having?

I have to say it again though: Fuck Mencia. Hate to beat that dead dog any more, but he definitely earns it.
