Full Version: The one true religion

No, it's not a joke video. But I do believe I am right about religion and everyone else is wrong. How unique eh?

Such a huge topic. Where do I begin?

Well for starters I have no blind faith. It's all just deduction and reasoning and me making sense of the world with what makes sense and admitting I don't know what I don't know. Now that is unique.

I may leave some of the more in-depth explanations out so I can get through this. If you are curious then ask.

Ok, so basically:

God is the universe, not a separate entity apart from the universe.

It is really very obvious. Something more or less universally believed by just about every single possible religion, and simultaneously universally overlooked. "God is everything" ...and everything is the universe. The universal consciousness. The simple, obvious, overlooked truth.

Everything, in a sense, has a "soul".

Well not really, but sort of... Everything in the physical world basically has a tangible presence so it therefore also has an ethereal/spiritual presence simply because it EXISTS and the ethereal/spiritual is pat of our reality - I mean it just is. If you are totally numb to your perception and intuition and need some kind of reasoning to support that read up on the "double slit experiment" among other things.

The ethereal presence of something evolves and increases over time. Time changes and evolves everything. Nothing remains unchanged by time. Actually, even "nothing" itself is changed over time, which is kind of how the universe came into existence.

We reincarnate. A lot. Our body dies. The ethereal presence is still there. Heaven is transcendence to a higher level, like when the soul reaches a certain level of development. Hell is like the soul burning out because it harmed itself on a destructive path it could no longer sustain itself. Basically natural occurrences brought on by natural reactions. No man in the sky working the gate/trap door because there doesn't need to be.

There is truth in the scriptures, but modern religion is just like a corrupted and commercialized and misused by authority. The Catholics, for example (or basically all of Christianity before Martin Luther deviated from what was ALREADY completely molested and fucked up by them dirty ol' priests) "revised" the bible like at least every century since it was written.

Enough for now. I'm a little drunk.

The Milky Cowboy
I was going to write a book 'Once Upon a Time' that would tie all that shit up nicely.....but I have been drunk for a long time, and never quite got it right....and decided that it wasn't worth the effort....I think I touched on the basis of it once talking about 3D syrographs....but it would have actuallly been 6D....such pretty patterns...

Fuck it...
Time to raid the wife's booze stash...

Hi Erin....
Dr. Death
Booze is good for dealing with reality. But to really understand it takes hallucinogens.

I agree with everything you said up to and including "Everything in a sense has a soul".

I prefer Democritus' view; that those souls are made up of atoms, just as physical matter is. And just as physical matter breaks down on death, so does the soul.

Hey, look at us; talking about a contentious issue without calling one another cunts.

I don't know, I'm coming more to the view that everything is shite.

Except for shite, which the waste matter of souls.

Can somebody precis the dickhead rambling?

I've got an episode of Scooby Doo to watch, and I haven't got time for pesky kids.

He's back! Gentlemen please, hold your applause! Women, at least go to the bathroom if you need to wring out your panties!

This theology Death is talking about actually is pretty close to what most Indians believed, especially the Toltecs. Some said this was heaven, some said it could be heaven, but all of them believed in the spirit of the material world itself. It's interesting to see the proliferation of these ideas, it slightly resembles the different branches of Christian theology (although there are obviously huge differences).

That's why concepts like ownership seemed absurd to the Indians, because in their mind it wasn't possible to "own" anything. Nobody borrowed anything: Whoever needed an item the most simply took it until somebody else needed it more. Even spouses worked that way. Some people stayed together and some didn't, it was considered a matter of preference.

It's a workable ideology, but like with any other there's prescribed behavior (I'd use the term "morals", but let's not work with loaded bullshit terms for the moment). Now the Toltecs in reference to understanding the true nature of the Earth had what they called "white magic" and "black magic". This wasn't some hocus-pocus kill-a-chicken-to-summon-rain belief. No, they believed every human had the ability to either open up the true nature of the world (white magic), or close it off(black). Your behavior was what dictated how much the world would reveal it's grandeur and beauty to you. People who were immoral weren't only harmful to others, they were deluding themselves and were to be pitied.

Okay, enough gabbing. I just find this shit interesting. I actually have a theory that there's only one soul, and it just gets reincarnated over and over again in different bodies. Like I am Hitler, but I'm also everyone he's ever killed too. It's a humbling idea, because it's difficult to cause pain to somebody if you know it'll just fuck you in a different time. It also gives me comfort, because I know at least in one of those lives I fucked Scarlet Johansen. Then again, I was also ScarJo getting fucked, so there's that...

Oh, how I've missed you guys. I'd say that I love you, but I don't want to be a narcissist.

That's not a religion, that's just physics. We all have recycled atoms. We all have parts that were at one time or another inside every single thing that ever lived and ever was, no matter how horrible or wonderful.

I liek to think that the very tip of my penis, for example, was Gandhi. They look alike in certain lights.
Dr. Death
This is good shit. I been meaning to add some shit to this. I got something already written out in an email to somebody that basically says what I was going to say. I will just have to find it and maybe edit it a little.

Anyway like Sunu was saying about the Indians and that shit -- I mean I know very little about Rastafarianism, but from what I have heard them dudes also seem to really get it.

And yeah, it is not religion; it is science; it is fucking physics. The shit makes sense. And it should. Not like I was taken in my some hippie giving me mumbo jumbo. It is just reasoning... but I suppose a little bit of intuition too... because once you start to get it... you kind of get on the right frequency to understand shit, kinda like Sunupu was saying.
